A lot is changing in Mercy Taylor’s life. As she attempts to adapt to her new roles in life it seems as though everything and everyone is working against her. When someone that she thought long dead reenters her life she begins to question everything. Who can she trust? How can she make the right decisions when everyone around her is keeping secrets? Mercy will do everything that she can to protect herself and the people she loves as soon as she figures out who the enemy is.
Ugh, my feelers. This book sure did a number on me. I absolutely adored it!
The Source was slightly less wonderful that The Line, the first book in the Witching Savannah series. I have found that the second book in a trilogy is often used to build towards the climax of the third book, so I was not surprised or disappointed.
I have really fallen in love with the Taylor clan. I really started rooting for them, quirks and all. In the Source a few new character traits are revealed that will leave you begging for answers. They are so much more than they seem on the surface.
There was also a certain event that just happened to rip my heart out! Of course I can’t tell you because that just takes all of the fun out of it, but don’t say I didn’t warn you.
